Welding at night with a bonfire as our worklamp, we completed this giant project in less than 15 days. The sculpture represents man, woman and child holding up the sun and is inspired by the stacking acrobatics of the Awassa Youth Campus Circus. Many actors in the Circus assisted in the creation of the sculpture as well as youth from the community.
Thank You to John McKay, wife Maggie for her patience as we made a racket, and all the amazing workers and volunteers at Awassa Youth Campus.
